multi-booting chromium os in a laptop with two oses already installed and only one hard disk

I’ve been wondering if their is a way of installing chromium os from this without wiping my only hard drive which I spent years filling it up with documents, videos and stuffs. Wiping it clean is probably one of the worst nightmares I could imagine besides corrupting my game save files so I tried copying the ROOT-A and STATE Partitions from the monstrously high number of partitions in the image file I downloaded. Unfortunately, it did not work. It just stuck on the white screen with the chromium logo on the center. The laptop already has Windows and Ubuntu Linux and my hard drive uses something called MBR. The bootloader I use is Grub 2. Could anyone help me with this? Any Suggestions?
